Buzzer Reaction Los Angeles Clippers 107 Final Recap | Box score 92 Denver Nuggets MVP: It was a big day for Duke basketball, and it was another big night for J.J. Redick in Denver. Redick had 17 of his game-high 25 points in the first half, making four more three pointers. Redick also added four rebounds and three assists – but he did miss a free throw for the first time in 40 days. Room for improvement! That was … business: The Clippers were never threatened in this game, taking a 13-0 lead to start the game. Los Angeles led by as much as 24 in the first half, while the Nuggets never got closer than 11 points after the first three minutes of the game. All of the Clippers starters finished in double figures. None of the Clippers bench scored in double figures. You know – business as usual. X factor: You know what wasn’t a factor? The altitude. The Clippers had lost the previous five games at Denver, but they got a break from the schedule this time around. In the previous six meetings at Denver, the Clippers were either playing the second night of a back-to-back or they had one day off. The Clippers had two days off in between their game in Portland Wednesday night and Saturday night’s game in Denver, and the team had plenty of time to work out and hang out in Colorado. Of course, it also helped that the Nuggets played in San Antonio Friday night and held out Ty Lawson and Danilo Gallinari, so there’s that too. — Law Murray Tweets Of The Game "MY POOL'S ALIVE" – Doc's happy first words of postgame — Rowan Kavner (@RowanKavner) April 5, 2015 "Cool technical, Glenn" said Draymond Green, the official scorer for Clippers-Nuggets pic.twitter.com/Dd5wTtvLfk — Dan Woike (@DanWoikeSports) April 5, 2015 The Nuggets are really pushing their luck with this whole "No one sits until we score" thing. pic.twitter.com/KYtum8zU2k — Arash Markazi (@ArashMarkazi) April 5, 2015 Check Your Messages Paint By Numbers It can be a bit comical how predictable this Los Angeles Clippers team is just judging them by a few benchmarks. Nine or more threes made in a game? 75-14 dating back to last season. J.J. Redick scores 20 or more points? 23-4 for his Clippers’ career. Clippers rack up 30 or more assists that night? 41-4 in the CP3 era. A gross oversimplification, yes. After all, basketball isn’t a game that is that easy to get right. Where these stats do point us, however, are towards what the Clippers are doing when they are going right. – Brandon Tomyoy
